This is World Poker Tour for the PSP. It is 29.99 and is rated T for teen. Just like the X-Box and PSP versions it has the same good poker players with above average graphics. Also, there are more players (200) than any other version of this game. Also, there are actual poker events that occur in the World Poker Tour. It also has tips and much more. You can create many players and start you rown World Poker Tour season. However, there were a few problems.
1. The announcers had very limited phrases. I believe during 1 session, I heard the same phrase 5 times in a row.
2. The loading (as with all 2k Sports games on all systems) takes forever.
3. Unless you’re online, the game freezes for 2 seconds. When you push down or up on your PSP, you hear a noise but the arrow doesn’t go down right away. This game was very realistic. I would recommend it but not for children.
Rating: 4 / 5
World Poker Tour for the PSP is really a fun game, to date it’s most likely the best poker game for a handheld out there. The graphics are impressive, the audio commentary is really good and the online component is really fun. The only problems I have with the game is 1). There doesn’t appear as of yet to be a lot of selection when it comes to selecting on-line tables. 2). If the game host loses or gets eliminated, he will tend to quit, thereby disconnecting all players.3). When creating a game, there are only a few poker game types to select from. Overall, the game is great and extremely enjoyable, highly recommended. Stacked is coming out soon, but this one will definitely fill the bill till then!
