How can video game systems become better? What are some things that they need to do yet?

How do I recycle things like old CDs, game consoles, PC parts, cell phones, etc in an eco-friendly way?

I’ve got a lot of old PC parts (hard drives and whatnot), laptop batteries, cell phones, game consoles, DVD players, printers, and other various electronics, but I don’t want them to all go to some landfill. What’s a good way to get rid of all these things that’s at least a little eco-friendly?

what are some cool things to get my teenager boys instead of games and game systems?

I would really like to get something different this year, they have computers and game systems and hand helds, cell phones and mp3′s. this year I want to get them something else and I am running out of time? I thought about an ipod but i am clueless and now i think i’m looking for something else all together.
