I have to admit that I have been playing the free version of this game for many years now on gaming websites (pogo, gamhouse, etc) and have enjoyed it. I finally broke down and bought it the other day and threw it on my desktop almost as an afterthought. I find I’m playing this game more than some of my other more complicated, more expensive games. It’s easy to play a round or two if you’re waiting for someone. It doesn’t become overly addictive like some games, but it’s still fun to play for 5 minutes or an hour.

  2. I must admit, I find this game a bit addictive. I was playing the shortened version on the free gaming sites and this is actually the first game I ever purchased as a download to the computer.

Basically you pack the Ocean Express with packages. With the tokens you win you can purchase additional barges and more expensive (point giving) packages. At the end of each segment you are awarded points based on your efficiency and how many packages you packed before time ran out (you get hit big if you leave a barge unfinished). And of course as the levels go up, the time gets shorter and the packages more challenging to place.

There is actually a lot more strategy involved than may first appear. Aside from your packing strategy; how do you best spend your tokens in buying barges and higher valued packages for more points?

My biggest issue with the game is when you use up all of your retries – you have to start from the very beginning again. It would be nice if like Collapse you were able to start a little farther into the game.
