I found the movement of the characters clumsy, and overall didn’t care if they got rescued or not.

You can’t do better at the price. This game combines so many minigames and all are good quality. The basic scenario involves building the skills of a growing population of stranded islanders by assigning them to gather food from trees, fish, hunt, cut lumber, and build structures, while also satisfying their needs for food, water, sleep, and socializing. While you are deploying them, they need to search for hidden radio parts. That’s all fine, but the best thing is that you continuously discover numerous minigames ranging from a time management waitressing game to checkers to a match-three game to shuffleboard to card games to a code-breaker….. the list goes on. Even though the story is very basic, the numerous games give it high replay value.
